Aurora Arteaga, Spanish singer and composer, will be presenting a special concert in duo with the Korean jazz pianist Mina Yu, including original compositions, creative arrangements of jazz standards, Brazilian music and some well-known pop tunes revisited from a fresh point of view. Arteaga has been working as a musician in the main Jazz clubs and festivals of Spain, singing also in Finland, Hungary, Italy, France and India. Now she is developing her music and career in New York thanks to a Fulbright Scholarship for Artists, awarded by the governments of Spain and US. Her music is inventive and intense, with a warm voice often closer to instrumental colors that melt very well with Yu's creativity and piano skills.
