WORKSHOPS & MASTERCLASSES
I teach workshops and masterclasses on vocal technique, interpretation and improvisation in jazz and modern music. These are some of my favorite subjects to teach & explore:
Songwriting
Vocal Jazz
Vocal Improvisation
Voice, body & song
ONE IN ONE LESSONS
I teach vocal technique, singing, songwriting, jazz and improvisation.
Training & preparation for concerts, castings and entrance exams for conservatories.
Lessons customized depending on each singer’s needs. Usually including aspects of interpretation, diction, phrasing, improvisation, music theory, rhythmic and aural exercises.
We can work together on your own songs as well as contemporary music repertoire & latinoamerican music (jazz/blues/bossa/pop and other styles).
Exercises proven and developed from the most recent techniques of modern singing, such as Somatic Voicework™ (USA), that helps eliminating tensions when singing, strengthens the voice and expands the register.
TEACHING
If you want to improve your vocal technique, developing more range, confidence, better tone and musicianship, I can help you to find your own voice, working on repertoire, phrasing, improvisation, theory, jazz/blues/pop/folk and other styles.
I’ve been a music teacher for more than 15 years in music institutions, schools and private lessons, and love sharing music and knowledges with my students. In between 2017-2024 I've been teaching vocal jazz, combo & ear training at Sevilla’s Higher Conservatorium of Music, and as well at Centro Superior Música Creativa in Madrid.
I am also a professional jazz musician and composer holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Jazz Voice (Musikene, Higher School of Music of Basque Country), a BME in Music Teaching and a BM in History of Music (UAM), plus a Master of Music in Jazz Performance from Manhattan School of Music.
Recently I’ve finished my studies of Voice Pathologies & Therapy (UAH, Madrid), and completed all three levels of Somatic Voicework™ pedagogical training at Baldwin Wallace University,Ohio.
I’ll be happy to help you achieve your goals as a singer.
Classes can be taught in English or Spanish.
